Official Church of Satan Resources

Satanic Youth Communiqué – For Satanists below the age of legal adulthood. This page also contains a wonderful ritual that was my first ritual.

Theory and Practice – Where you can find the basics of Satanism

The Official YouTube Page – For you lovers of video.

Member Links – Here are what a few members are doing.

Recommended Podcasts

The Devil You Know – Hosts John and Dorian are a riot as they talk about Satanism in the world today and give biographical interviews of individual Satanists every week.

Raising Hell – The Raising Hell Podcast is the one and only parenting podcast from a Satanic perspective. Even if you aren’t a parent, the podcast is fun, engaging, and informative. I tune in to it’s biweekly episodes just for that reason.

The Accusation Network – This is actually three separate podcasts, but all are worth noting. All three provide well researched and well presented information, and my personal favorite is the main podcast, The Accusation Party. Released monthly, this podcast gives valuable information on topics in the news with cited sources and well conducted studies presented in a way that never gets boring.

Radio Free Satan – Again, this is a collection of podcasts, but there are so many good ones I just listed the main site. Music, comedy, and more are contained here, and these often get me through the work day. My favorite? The Devil’s Mischief hosted by Magister Bill M.

Books

The Church of Satan’s Book List

Non-fiction

The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey – All of LaVey’s work is important, but if you have questions about what Satanists think always start here.

The Satanic Scriptures by Peter H. Gilmore – I was hesitant to pick this book up initially, as it isn’t one of Anton LaVey’s books. I am now glad I did, as the information therein is beyond useful. Not only that, but I managed to spend only a few tens of dollars and the book’s value just keeps going up!

The Satanic Warlock by Magister Dr. Robert Johnson – I have one of the first editions, and I am glad to have the chance to read it. This volume is full of valuable knowledge.

The Fundamentals of Extremism: The Christian Right in America by Kimberly Blaker – I first read this book 2 or 3 years ago. Inside you will find first hand account and essays regarding theistic extremism and religious influence in the American government. Though it is a bit outdated, I still find it to be a fascinating read.

Satanic Panic; The Creation Of A Contemporary Legend by Jeffrey S. Victor – As someone who didn’t live through The Satanic Panic, I didn’t really understand what to make of it. I read this book while first discovering Satanism, and really have to read it again. The author presents the scope of the issue, while debunking it thoroughly.

Fiction

American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis – This is not a book for the faint of heart. If you enjoy satire, violence, sex, drugs, and psychopaths in your fiction, this book is one for you. Ellis makes interesting commentary through this work about the value we place on people as a society, and though I take a different message from the book than what he intended it is still worthwhile.

The Shining by Stephen King – I first read this book at 12 or 13, and it petrified me. As is often the case, the book is better than the movie.

The Bourne Series by Robert Ludlum – Bond be damned, Jason Bourne is way cooler.
